2022 Primary Election Information
The Primary Election will be held on May 17th, 2022. The last day to change your political party affiliation and be eligible to vote in the May Primary is December 31, 2021. The last day to register to vote to be eligible to vote in the Primary is April 18th, 2022. The General Election will be held on November 8th, 2022. The last day to register to vote to be eligible to vote in the General is October 10th, 2022. You can register/change your party online at www.govoteky.com or in person at the County Clerk’s office.

Renewals for vehicles
You have several ways to renew your vehicle:
- Call the office and renew over the phone (270) 389-2431 or (270) 389-1334
- Place in the drop box at the north entrance of the Union County Courthouse (Izzy’s side), 100 W Main St, Morganfield, KY 42437
- Renew online at drive.ky.gov, follow instructions given. (2019 Vehicle Ad-Valorem Taxes paid can be found here as well.)
- Mail in to PO Box 119 Morganfield, KY. Mail in renewals need to include prior year registration or reminder card, proof of insurance, and payment.

We’re trying to limit access in the records room to no more than two people at a time. If you need access to the records room, please call prior: (270) 389-1334.
Land records and real estate recordings will continue to be recorded and can be submitted by mail. Online searches can be conducted at: ecclix.com.
Additional Information
All business can be conducted on-line or via phone with the exception of the following:
- Marriage License. These services will be appointment only.
Citizens are encouraged to conduct all business on-line or by phone or drop box.
Staff are available to assist via e-mail ([email protected]) and phone.
Title abstractors will have free access to our online database of land records for title examination purposes. If you’re unable to find a record online, please call our office.
Registration renewals on vehicles, boats, or campers can be done over the phone.
